Hakka from Sabah, Malaysia.
- Responded to God’s calling in 1983. From 1985 to 1989, studied at Trinity Theological College, Singapore.
- After graduation, returned to pastor in the Basel Church of Sabah.
- Married in 1991 with one daughter and one son.
- Took a two-year sabbatical (1998–2000) to further study at China Evangelical Seminary, Taiwan.
- Earned a Doctor of Ministry degree in 2024.
- Served as Chinese Synod Chaplain of the Basel Christian Church of Malaysia for 12 years (2008–2019), and as full-time Mission Director for 4 years (2020–2023).
- Former Chairman of the Sabah Regional Committee of the Chinese Coordination Centre of World Evangelism (CCCE).
- Currently Senior Pastor of Tawau Basel Church and District Pastor of Tawau Region; Vice Chairman of Malaysia United Mission Movement (MUMM); Vice Chairman of SIM East Malaysia and Brunei Council; Chairman of the Global Hakka Evangelical Fellowship.
