• He joined China Evangelical Seminary in 2008 as a professor of systematic theology and was appointed Director of the Chinese Theology Program in 2010. Later, in 2016, he became the Seminary’s seventh president.
• He is committed to being a servant of Christ throughout his life—doing theology for the church and showing care for society.
• For the past twenty years, he has actively embodied this calling by addressing issues in the church and society through the lens of a biblical worldview, primarily through teaching and writing.
