He joined China Evangelical Seminary in 2008 as a professor of systematic theology and was appointed Director of the Chinese Theology Program in 2010. Later, in 2016, he became the Seminary’s seventh president.
He is committed to being a servant of Christ throughout his life—doing theology for the church and showing care for society.
For the past twenty years, he has actively embodied this calling by addressing issues in the church and society through the lens of a biblical worldview, primarily through teaching and writing.
