Background:

Born in West Kalimantan, Indonesia (West Kalimantan), he is a third-generation Chinese Indonesian. He received Indonesian-language education from childhood; however, because of his strong burden to evangelize to the Chinese people, he began self-studying Chinese in high school. After graduating from high school, he went to Taiwan to study Chinese for about a year, laying the foundation for future ministry among Chinese people.

• Bachelor of Theology: Hong Kong Alliance Bible Seminary
• Master of Divinity: Singapore Bible College
• Currently pursuing: Doctor of Ministry, Malaysia Bible Seminary

Ministry Experience:
• 1991–1996: Missionary of the Hong Kong Alliance Mission, commissioned to serve in Pontianak, West Kalimantan, and other local churches, participating in youth, student, training, and mission ministries.
• 1999–2022: Senior Pastor of Pontianak Congregation, West Kalimantan Christian Church, and in 2013 led the church to transform into a disciple-making-centered church, committed to establishing a “life influencing life” discipleship culture, helping believers grow in truth and fulfill the Great Commission.
• 1998–2022: Chairman of the Chinese Christian Association, West Kalimantan Region, Indonesia.
• 2023–Present:
o Supervising Pastor of Pontianak Congregation, West Kalimantan Christian Church
o President of the General Assembly of West Kalimantan Christian Church (The West Kalimantan Christian Church is a Chinese Indonesian church with 52 congregations and preaching stations across West Kalimantan.)
o Together with his wife, through “Barnabas Ministry,” accompanies and supervises senior pastors of various Chinese churches in Indonesia.
